Blacks by and large were Republican voters until the Great Society.....
Party of Lincoln and all that.
Plus all the segregationists and the Klan were Democrats.

Martin Luther King a Republican by Frances Rice/Special to ETRI met Mrs. Rice (no relation) at CPAC last year. Very nice lady.
She is the Chairman of the National Black Republican Association.
