If this is true, I would almost wonder whether typhoid fever was the real cause. The Pakistani government has been taking it on the chin in the past couple of weeks. President Bush's statement that he would send troops into Pakistan if Bin Laden were there was a thinly veiled threat against an obstinate Pakistani government. Is it possible Musharaf got the message?
