A caller on Washington Journal just mentioned a shooting involving a Pennsylvania state senators gun and wanted to know more about it. The caller said no names were mentioned in the TV report he heard.

Neither the host or the Roll Call staff writer knew anything about it.

Has anyone here heard about it?

There was a story on FNC last night on this; it is a state senator (don't know party, don't know name). HEre is what is on their web site regarding this:

Is a Pa. state senator to blame for the shooting death of teen neighbor Louis Farrell? 'The Lineup' investigates!

Apparently the senator's gun was the weapon used in the murder/suicide (not yet determined). I don't believe the senator's name was given. Its not much, but all I can find on this topic.

Heard that. Both declined to comment. Hmmmmmmmmm.........Maybe it just happened last night?????

Nonetheless, if its a Democrat the story may be buried.

Is it a Pennsylvania state senator or is it a Pennsylvania state senator (as in Santorum or snarlin Arlen)? I would assume the former, but you can't tell, what with how poorly reporters now use (or misuse) the English language.

Say what you will about Walter Cronkite, the man could say things precisely and clearly (even if it was propaganda)
