Yes, it's very interesting. It's interesting in that it must indicate an attack so horrendous that they anticipate a huge *backlash* against those Muslims who are living here.
Or else (or, "in addition") the attack is also *so pervasive* that it affects large groups of Muslims, too.
Those are worth considering.
