All civilized nations, especially those in the Muslim world, are bound together in this struggle between moderation and extremism, Bush said. By working together, we will roll back this grave threat to our way of life, we will help the people of the Middle East claim their freedom, and we will leave a safer and more hopeful world for our children and grandchildren.
Dream on, Mr. Bush. With the very shaky exception of Turkey, there are no civilized nations in the Muslim world.
GWB had it right before 9/11 when he said he would not attempt to engage in nation building.
There is good and evil in this world. You must either destroy evil or contain it.
When it comes to Islam, I think we can contain it until it destroys itself, just like Communism did.
But to do so, we must first reject the big lie that prevents us from dealing rationally with the threat: Multiculturalism.
