I'm so sorry, Ohio. It is hard to lose such a close friend. What a blessing that you had Cinnamon for such a long time.

Thank you, Brandi.
We still have one cat, but she's not like Cinammon. When our son Eric was little, he would walk around in the woods with a stick and Cinnamon would be right there with him exploring. He never lost that sweetness.

We will console the kids with that. Our youngest can't remember life without him.

Prayers for comfort for you and your family, Ohio! It is so painful to lose a pet! I hope you can temper the pain with the memories of the happy times Cinnamon brought your family. Sending hugs . . .

RE: Clinton . . . I sent an email to Chris Wallace thanking him for his interview, which showed the REAL side of the "man" (Clinton) and hopefully will remind everyone (who needs reminding) of what a WH with the Clintoons in it would be like.

I know it will be hard on the kids. We lost two dachshunds, Susie and one of her puppies, Pumpkin, when I was in high school. Cried like babies for days, and we'd only had them for about 6 years.
Sounds like Cinnamon had a peaceful death, though, so that's a comfort.

Oh, OWF, I'm so deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved Cinnamon. You said, "Thanks for letting me share this with those who will understand my deep sorrow. We have lost a dear, sweet friend."
It is I who should thank you for sharing your sorrow with those of us who so clearly understand what it is to lose our dear friends of the furred persuasion.
I had left the thread to scan two photos of my kittens, since you and so many others had asked about them often. When I returned, I saw your heartbreaking post. I hope you'll find it appropriate for me to add the photos of the kittens to this thread. I'd like to think your Cinnamon is one more angel up in heaven putting a word in for me with the Lord that I find a new place to live where these little ones will be welcome.
Let me know if it's OK to post the photos of the kittens. If it would make you uncomfortable, I'll wait until another day.
