This is the Clinton we've heard and read about but few have actually seen up close and personal. Wonder if this was an awakening for Chris Wallace and some of the libs at Fox? Like Julie Banderas who commented yesterday she was happy that he spoke up for himself (ditz).

I remember that (as I've posted a couple of other times on this thread) and so do a couple of other people on this thread. I wish Rush (or somebody) would read this and re-show that clip. It really showed what the man was like and how the press covered up for him. It was during the first easter party at the white house.
There was no excuse for it. They had just run out of eggs because there were so many kids. He is not a great man or even a nice man. Just mean and viscious.
I wish someone would play that clip and then show Begala and Carville declaring their loyalty to him. Carville had said anyone as loyal as the Clintonistas are to someone who is unworthy is a sychophant.

Point well taken. Perhaps I should have said "repeat her past success with the soccer-mom gang." In that I mean, can Hillary successfully parlay Bill's obvious loss of control in a sympathy vote from the soccer moms? Something along the lines of "Gosh, look what poor Hillary has to put up with!"

The Cold War had just ended - the US had ascended to lone super-power status without peer. The DBM ruled supreme - there was only Rush - limited 'Net usage, no FR, no FNC, nothing to offset their Pravda like monopoly on "news". And there was a little issue of a third-party candidate which drew off 90% of the R vote.
Still, with all that, he never achieved a majority.

We don't have to exaggerate. Clinton had 8 years, which is 2,922 days, to GWBs mere 234 days. Most of GWBs days were spent re-organizing a trashed White House, getting Dems to stop filibustering his cabinet choices, and formulating a plan to stop terrorism since the Clinton admin denied them a transition period, and left them nothing to go on. The Bush admin terrorism plan went into effect just a week before the 9-11 strikes.
If Clinton had left a viable terrorism plan on the table, or heaven forbid, had one in action, or allowed the Bush admin a transition period, there's a strong chance 9-11 would have NEVER happened, and THAT is Slick Willie's TRUE LEGACY.
