Gergin's statement demonstrates that they expect softball questions from the media.

Gergen conveniently ignoring the parameters for the interview. One half would be questions about slick willie, global initiative and the other half free to any questions on any topic.
Gergen proving that he too, is afraid to just say NO to a request by slick willie to go on TV and make a fool of himself.

Gergan says Wallace "sandbagged" BJ.I guess political "consultants" are about the same as politicians--the honest ones are the ones who stay bought. I've listened to david gergan on tv and read his schtick in one of the news-weaklies for decades, and he has yet to produce one original thought.
