One person stood up to Bill Clinton in 1996. That was Ross Perot. I am not a Perot supporter, but he said Clinton was corrupt and he accurately predicted that Clinton would be impeached. It was Perot who pulled Clinton under the 50% vote mark. Perot is never cited for his dead on prediction, because both democrats and republicans hate him.
I voted for Dole in '96, but you're right, Ross Perot was one of the first people to call out X42 on selling out to foreigners for campaign cash, eventually leading to Chinagate.
Perot had to know that his candidacy would put Clinton in office.
The fact that he knew how bad Clinton was and still persisted speaks volumes about the loathesome little rodent.

Not the only thing Perot was correct in predicting, unfortunately, Perot (I voted for him) brought us the 8-years of Clinton and I'm certain Hillary is counting on a third party candidate for '08 so lightning will strike again.
