Wow, it would be just like Vietnam then!Not exactly. The end of the Vietnam war had little effect on the daily lives of Americans at home - there were no VC blowing themselves up in our shopping malls and other public places - no rocket attacks on our airports or centers of commerce - no Asian religious fanatics demanding that the US adopt their legal system and that the American people convert to their religion.
They just wanted us out of their country.
