Right on. In around 1600 My ancestors were Byzantine Greeks living in Sicily and they teamed up with Roger I and drove out the Saracens. Also some of my ancestors lived in Albania and had to flee to Sicily in the 1400;s because the Ottoman Turks had invaded Albania. They were Christians and did not want to have to convert to Islam. I think it is amazing we of the West have been fighting the Muslims for 1000 years and that we still are.
