For Bill Clinton, the best defense is always a good offense.

That’s the Clinton the nation saw Sunday, pointing his finger and reprimanding Fox News’ Chris Wallace for the crime of aggressively questioning the former president about his role in fighting terrorism and his failure to go after Osama bin Laden.

“They [the Bush administration] had eight months to try [and] they did not try. I got closer to killing him than anybody’s gotten since,” he said.

Perhaps someone should have reminded Clinton that “close” only counts in horseshoes. But that aside, a day later Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice attempted to set the record straight. So why the Clinton hissy-fit and why the attempt now to rewrite the sorry history of his own administration?

Well, perhaps Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) tipped her hand when she said, “I just think that my husband did a great job in demonstrating that Democrats are not going to take this.”

With the mid-year elections coming up, maybe the only defense for Dems is a good offense.

Tried once to kill him with a missile toward the end of his term, but a few other times other nations were offering to hand him over for jail or whatever and Clinton said NO NO NO.

Unfortunately he's in the U.K. right now spewing all his lies to Brown who will replace Tony Blair when he retires soon. I hate to think what distorted lies he's telling them.

Dick Clarke has an opinion, but means nothing.

Bottom line we had a President let go several times a terrorist who had already declared war on us in 1996.
By not taking this terrorist, Clinton gave us 9/11, the terror network that expanded globally with Osama's money and this war we are in.

There could be a real case easily made for my statement above and based on facts WITHOUT politics, I think Democrats could NOT challenge the statement above based on actual facts.

Now the problem is, DEMOCRATS and a loved Leader of Democrats didn't take the terrorist when in hand.
So, we get no news or little news or falsified news regarding the issue.
The one partisanship of the main stream press is actually in this case a betrayal of the American People regarding real history and which party enables terror.

Any careful reading of this story will show that the Clintons are doing what they do best: lie.

He is giving Brown his victimology.

Bill is a real sociopath, so he believes EVERY word he is telling Brown.

He is probably trying to figure out with Brown how to funnel U.K. money to help finance Democrats in our elections and getting paid massive monies on the tour as he at least partially hits the paid speaking circuit.

Yes, you are right and they are telling good lies.

As I mentioned above, what the Clintons and Middle Eastern folks share is the belief that if you lie and tell the lie often enough, that the lie becomes the truth.

Bill and the Islamic cultures actually believe the lies as truth themselves when they tell it often enough, but the effect is still that citizens who don't have a grasp of history or don't read much won't know they are lying and will believe the BS.

Even the Tonight Show took his "I tried to kill him line" in a skit where he was placed with a little girl in the interview to sound like he was trying to kill Santa.

I think the Tonight Show is a reflection of Americana and the fact Leno did that educates many who vote but don't educate themselves politically as to what a clown Clinton is.

If slicks trip was to get away from his unhinged episode on Sunday he's going to be very disappointed. I have sent the video link to everyone I know all over the UK and it opened many Brits eyes as to who the real slick clinton is.
