The attack on families continues....

If the leftist lunatics have their way, pretty soon, a family consisting of a man, a woman, and their children will be a thing of the past.

I'm really new here and just been browsing through everything I can. I've never been to California (actually haven't traveled much at all, so guess that's no big deal) so really don't have much of a viewpoint on what that state does, but I have a question.

I've heard it said many many many many times and I keep trying my best to understand it about this 'family.. thing of the past'... and I just can't put my finger on it and when I ask my friends, they just look at me like I'm crazy.

Help an old guy but new here to understand your post, please? Don't get me wrong, I'm against homosexuals (based on scriptures) actually more against the sin than the person, but I've never come to any conclusions that made sense to me about how allowing gays to form some kind of contractual bond that is recognized at the state/federal level has any direct impact on my family or the families around me.
