OK I have a question for ALL of you computer guys out there, What do I have to do to to upgrade fron Windows ME to Windows XP or higher? AND what precautions should I take prior to the upgrade?
Back up the important stuff and do a clean install for best results.. i.e., reformat the drive. updating directly from MS ME can be iffy at best.
Do not get the update version. Get the full version and do a clean install.
Save you data ....and wipe the disk....then do a fresh install...
