Howlin, read this article all the way through when you get a chance, especially about Armitage and Powell getting their noses pushed out. After reading this I'd lay bets that Powell was the main instigator behind the Wilson/Plame leak to get his own back at GWB and crew. He just couldn't stand not being 'the main man' and being replaced.

AB, like Howlin I've read the article posted on this thread by Howie Kurtz, and I've read the James Rosen interview with Condi Rice that you gave a link for, and like Howlin I cannot find what you are talking about.

You say to read a half to two thirds of the way down on a "long article" that supposedly explains about Powell getting his nose out of joint and wanting to "get back" at the President by the Armitage/Plame thing.

Well, there is no "long article". Both pieces are pretty short. And there isn't a word in either of them about Powell or Armitage.
