Notice how the Mexican immigration reform proposals do absolutely nothing to erradicate any of the officially sanctioned racism embodied in Mexico's own immigration laws

I see that the Mexican laws are very favored to in-country Mexican Citizens. I wonder if they have strict enforcement for folks from say... South America.

Actually, if one is of Latin descent (including from the Iberian Peninsula in Europe) one MAY become a dual citizen in Mexico. If not, one must renounce one's foreign citizenship in hopes of getting to become a Mexican citizen. The flagrant racism is documented at:

Can you imagine the hypocritical outcry from La Raza if U.S. immigration laws only allowed anglos to become dual citizens? It wouldn't be consistent with their doctrine of reconquista (reconquering the SouthWest).
