And what's that tasty snack?
1 I love you, O LORD, my strength.
2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.
He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
3 I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise,
and I am saved from my enemies.
a well chosen Psalm tonight, especially for me..
Hiya snugs!
I'm getting ready to call it a night.
LONG day.
I'm so happy all three of us tied for first!
NO hurry on mine. I will be thrilled with the photo of the day that Wolfstar posted.
Thank you very much for this help we really appreciate this
Could even be great grandmother looking at the age of her and the boy.

I have a 10 second rule so they have all won a toaster :0)
It is a lovely photo
That is a lovely photo thanks for posting it here and on the Sunday talk show thread
My pleasure....always eager to help a fellow freeper.
Wow! What a wonderful experience! Thank you for sharing it. I'm really enjoying the book - for someone like me with no experience with the military, it's a great behind-the-scenes look at all of the intelligence (not only from the field, but in the men themselves) which goes into a military operation, as well as the courage, intelligence, and skill of the forces in the field. God bless you and your family.
Unfortunately, no, but there's a Sunday Morning Talk Show thread that runs every Sunday. You may find commentary about Card there.
Since I didn't see it, I'd be interested in your point of view.
Thanks very much for posting that heartwarming story of President Bush and Bruce Vincent. Our President is a genuinely great man, and stories like this give us insights into why -- not how, for we know that -- but why he is great.
Just catching up on the posts, and I had to comment on this. I really like the Beltway Boys, Fred Barnes and Mort Kondracke (sp), even though they're probably even earlier than the 1970s. They're always at odds but always so gentlemanly with each other that it's a pleasure to watch them disagree. So, I hope Fox doesn't cut them out.
As I said in an earlier reply, that photo is excellent on several levels. The lighting. The photographic quality. The composition. The intriguing expression on the President's face. How attractive both GWB and his Laura look.
It's a photo that should win awards, like a Pulitzer, but probably never will because the people who hand out such awards are mostly Leftists.
Altura, I think the update on his prayer thread said that the tumor was removed and he is now in physical therapy. Tator's friend who posted the prayer thread only found out about what happened about a week after he was hospitalized.
