Im north of the border. I just worry what kind of shape you'll be in down there if the dems get even more control. We're one of only three states that is actually losing population (NY and RI being the others).
The exodus of the self sufficient from this state will accelerate if Hilllary's Favorite Houseboy is elected.
And if he is...Osama Obama had better move over because Patrick will become the new "oh my,*when* will he run for President?" superstar at DNC Headquarters.

I was joking, but AWESOME! Thanks Killborn!
That's gonna be me if Deval gets in. I'll have one hand on my steering wheel, and Deval's hand on my wallet. Just found out he doesn't vote much. Let's hope the moonbats follow his lead.

Your welcome. Healey can't be any worse than Patrick. I'm afraid all Mihos is doing is splitting the vote. USually bad things happen after that.

Christy should have run in the Republican Primary, now he has no chance.

She's not worse than Patrick, but she's not far from it. I really have to vote for the best guy, if everyone did we would get true leaders. If there was no Christy I would have to vote for her, but it just be to keep Deval out. We have not only a choice, but a real man running... you need to check out Christy and become a leader with him.
To: MassachusettsGOP
Hi MASGOP,
I saw the debate, she was a scared little girl. What if everyone else died and she got it...and we actually needed a Governor during an emergency? Who on that stage looked like they could actually handle a tough job? Grace with her Moo dress, Deval with his rhetoric, Muffy peeing her panties? I liked Christy years ago when I saw him fighting the Pike guys. He's by far the best guy for the job.

What do you think about Pres. Bush I and II? Pres. Gerald Ford?

The Bushs were not Regan, but I still like them. George W took a difficult job and did it. I think we should be in Iraq and Afg. We need to hit these guys hard.
To: charliedontsurf
By the way, I have no connection to state party, Im a registered Unenrolled. (So don't think im a Healey-bot)
As for the debate, Deval and Grace as you said were competely nuts, and they obviously can't do the job. (We already knew that)
As for Healey's performance, I agree she came off as very awkward trying to ignore the raving lunatic sitting next to her. However, she knows her stuff, she is not a dumb person, and if Romney resigned today, she would be a very capable Governor, I dont understand what makes you think she is absolutely incompetant (though i would agree she is bit more moderate than my liking, but Christy is right there with her).
As for Christy, he made up attacks on Healey, such as "You said Swift was your hero", when in fact, Healey has never said such a thing, and Christy can't find the instance in which he "remembered" it.
http://www.boston.com/news/local/politics/candidates/articles/2006/10/01/mihos_remark_on_healeys_hero_mystifies_her_campaign/
And as for "Fighting the Pike", Christy was a loyal follower of the Hacks on the Board while Karaciotis was in charge. When Swifty tryed to boot him to elevate Amorello and pack the board with more of her cronies, Mihos went into job security mode and took her ass to court. It was only then, in 2000, that he started to act responsibily. He is a hack like anyother. Now he is just on a revenge rant against Romney-Healey for Romney failing to reappoint him to the board. If he was actually interested in winning this race, he would have run in the primary, but he didnt.
My friend, our only hope is with Healey. Mihos can't even poll 10%.

Did you see the Deval local meals tax plan? As to Christy & Muffy, I don't know all the Pike dealings, seems like you followed the story well. It was clear to me that he was standing up to the toll increases and that the courts found in his favor. As to Muffy, she's so scared of Christy that she tried to rewrite her own rules of the debates. Why can't she take on Christy? As to the "hero" remark, she has never denied it. Not at the debate or in the press. She had never said that she didn't say it. Why? She hopes no one will produce the tape.

It is scary to think what will happen in MA if Deval is in charge and the Dems have the majority in the house and the senate! If the people of MA elect someone who will give instate tuition to illegal aliens, driver's licenses to illegal aliens, and not implement the tax rollback the people voted for, MA deserves what it gets....

There is no doubt Christy is better than Patrick, heck I'd even take Jane Swift over Deval. I just don't think Christy can do it, and I have a lot more confidence in the job Healey can do, Christy is a iffy on things like Gay Marriage, the Tax rollback, and spending. But he does kick ass on Immigration. I just wish we had a primary.

Hi MASGOP,
Muffy did nothing for 3 1/2 years and now she's signing bills? How many other bills did she sign while in office? I heard her on WRKO the other morning. It was a riot. A carpenter called in to support her but said he was moving to NH. She asked for his vote before he moves and then said, make it a vacation home and come back here.
She couldn't understand he was leaving because he had to. Like he could afford a 2nd home? He couldn't afford one here in MA!! How dense can you be! I wish everyone could hear that.
Check it out. It's 100% true.
To: charliedontsurf
Muffy technically doesn't sign anything unless Romney is out of the state. Its not in the Lt. Governor's job description. Technically, the only thing she does is chair the weekely 10-minute Governor's Council meeting, and wait for the Governor to die or resign.
However, because Romney has been out of state a lot lately, she has served as Acting Governor in his place, which allowed her to sign a couple bills in his absense.
As for the 2nd Home thing, I never heard it, but from the sounds of it, it doesn't sound all that serious. Probably just another one of her lame jokes.
