If schools are such easy targets wouldn't it be more effective to require all school staff to be trained with firearms and carry sidearms while on duty?
It would make me think twice about attacking a school. Could you imagine a grumpy old school marm packing a .45? It scares me.

Quite right, more guns and plenty of ammo thats what every school need. If only the kids had been armed to the teeth they could of whacked the whacko.
