Wait a doggone minute here! What happened to the Congressional immunity that was so important when William Jefferson, Democrat Louisiana, had his office violated? We went through days of examination of the effort to get info from the office of William Jefferson, Democrat Louisiana, and not a bit of discussion about what the evidence revealed. Even though he was taped taking money, the feds were at fault somehow.

So, doesn't Foley get the same right to stay in office? What? He's a Republican? Never mind.

Foley was going after boys. Since he's obviously a homo, I'm surprised that the dhimmicrats are critical. I thought homos were one of their favorite constituencies.

And this is exactly why some of the Dems are attacking Republicans like Hastert over what they knew, rather than attacking Foley, personally. The Dems are in a difficult position, trying not to alienate their Gay constituents by looking like homophobes, while still attacking Republicans for not protecting "the children."

Republicans need to point this hypocrisy out, noting that many Dems aren't upset at what Foley did, but rather what some Republicans may have not done. This is why it is just as important for Republicans to find out what Democrat operatives knew about these emails and IMs and did nothing but use them as political fodder...rather than protecting the children.
