Speaker Hastert takes full responsibility for not being Patrick Kennedys designated driver at the time of the late-night session.
Stolen from remarks on Scrappleface.

I fail to see the reasoning behind the RINO's knee-jerk reaction of calling for the resignation of Hastert. Many still haven't been able to shrug of the defeatist attitudes of the past I suppose.

It seems like they're convinced of a Dem takeover if the GOP base sits this one out. So if they don't does that mean they believe the Dems won't have much of a chance?

Instead of "OHM", the liebral media's new TV mantra/chant is "Hastert, when did he know and how mu-u-u-u-u-u-u-u-u-ch"

We have a "throw em under the bus" culture.
How many pukes have tried to throw Rummy under the bus over the last few years?

NBC Republican: Scarborough Says 'Throw Hastert Under The Bus'lol... yeah! and Scarborough wants a larger contract next year.

I did not elect Joe, Matt, the Today Show, or any newspapers to run my country.
It is time to tell them to go to hell, by saying no to the Commie-Vampire coup of the Congress.

Joe needs to STFU considering his dead intern problem.

Scarborough has his own skeletons in the closet.
Why won't he come clean about the dead female staffer that was found in his office before he quit Congress?
He also needs to fess up about his wild days with Gary Condit.
Scarborough acts like a man who is being blackmailed.

Scarborough has absolutely no credibility left. He sold his soul to the devil to get a nightly TV gig and to keep that gig he's willing to say absolutely anything to keep the leftwing jackals that MSNBC happy. He's a bitter disappointment and a disgrace.

You are brilliant with:
"Sounding like a man eager to ingratiate himself with his bosses, Scarborough enthused..." "Sychophant" should be Scarborough's middle name, and I think it's as much to join the Washington air kissing, cocktail party in-crowd, as it is to please his MSNBC bosses. On his more cautious days, Scarborough hedges everything he says with "on the other hand" addendums, but more and more lately, Scarborough doesn't even pretend to be philosophically conservative. There's nothing more disingenuous than a politician journalist who still claims redneck roots long after he's severed them with a self-serving vengence.

Many, many, many years ago we had a statement the applied to the types of statements made by people like Joe Scarborough and also applies to the Republicans that talk about sitting home and not voting, it is: Cutting off your nose to spite your face.

This is the final straw that broke the camel's back. It's the base that's going to be upset by the Foley scandal that will end up dooming the Republican majority. I think Nancy Pelosi is the next Speaker of the House." I think JS has been infected by MSNBC-itis! One member of the Republican House team sends naughty IMs to an under-age page. To date, there is no statement that any physical conatct between the two occurred. And for this the speaker should resign? The hypocrisy of the party of Barney Frank and Bill Clinton is showing clearly for all to see!
