The guy was having a pretty little Chinese Airline Executive (who were later shown to be Chinese intelligence officer) stay over at the Whie House in the Lincoln bedroom. He was a huge security problem himself.

Having said that, the personnel tasked with his protection must keep tight lips before and after so as to protect the Presidency, whomever is filling the office at the time.

I'm sure I'm missing something here but how can personality of an ex, affect the security of a future president? I agree that stories should wait until after their term unless something ilegeal noticed, but....

Jeff, while I almost always agree with you, this time I don't. Common sense is the reason. Every single detail in this urban legend is probably known to every foreign government. All of this information is easily attained from casual observation. Also, it isn't just the SS who knows this stuff. I, myself, spoke to a Marine who worked the White House and who told me one or two things. People love to gossip. No way to stop it.
