This blogger says more is coming. I hope so, because so far I am not seeing the purpose of exposing this guy's identity.
Someone released the IM's to ABC News. If it wasn't Jordan Edmund, we need to know who else had access to his Instand Messages. These IM's are over 3 years old. Edmund was obviously holding on to them for some reason. Hopefully we'll someone will find out. It wasn't the blog that outed him...it was the ABC News website that posted his AOL screen name. If this blogger hadn't down the footwork, someone else would have.
If anyone outed him, it was the ABC News website that posted his AOL screen name within the Instant Messages. Anyone with half a brain and an AOL account could do a search and find him.
It does not matter what age Foley thought the page was.
The actual age matters. Read earlier posts in this thread. If he was over 18, then no crime happened. Not federal,not DC, not state!

No, It really was a pity that this kid, who informed the government YEARS ago about these IMs now gets 'outed'.
But, if the AMAZING bloggers hadn't found out who he was, and how the news came to light (on a bogus blog, see Drudge), there would not have come to light this incredible set-up.
The disgusting democrats sat on this information, left him in office, and when they felt they could use it to regain the house all of a sudden out they come.
All because ABC mistakenly left in one pseuodonym, and bloggers tracked this down...

I agree that the bloggers are amazing here, and all due to a mistakenly left identity. I really doubt he had anything to do with this political move. Supposedly he recorded the IMs to report him to the government. He's probably pretty upset.
I'm not sure why this is relevant to Free Republic.

I see Edmund was (is?) a student at Berkeley. Did *he* provide the IMs or did a RAT-sympathizing Phi Gamma Delta frat brother?
His MyPage profile (google cache) lists himself as a Christian, Straight and a political activist working on a GOP campaign in Ohio right now. He seems to be from Carlsbad, CA and attended private schools in the San Diego area.
Beats me.....his whole history is Republican.
