The following is a document "outing" former Foley aide Kirk Fordham. It has been rumoured that he is a member of "The List" as reported on Hannity today. "The List" is going around media outlets of homosexual members of congress and homosexual staff that may have worked to protect Foley and others. Apparently David Corn has recieved it in discussions with Hannity.
Fordham is denying trying to cover up this affair:
Fordham spoke to the AP after ABC News quoted unidentified GOP sources as insinuating that he had intervened on behalf of Foley, his former boss, to prevent an inquiry into Foley's conduct.
"This is categorically false," Fordham said. "At no point ever did I ask anyone to block any inquiries into Foley's actions or behavior."
This is dangerous...reminds me of Nazi Germany ....First they come for the gays and next they'll come for us unhappy people
From my little piece of Philly no one seems to care about any of this. Of course this is a big lib gay city but the part of the city where I live is mostly families. Mixed religious backgrounds, mixed ethnicity and it doesn't seem to be affecting any of them. Considering Philly is a blue as blue can be I can't see it having any effect here at all.

I think it will backfire. I don't see people voting on who's gay or who has gays working for them while there are people who want blow us up. In the end, in the voting booth, I still think people will still vote on the issues that are important to them. If people turn away from voting just because of this then we all lose and I really hope voters won't stay away just for moral issues when in my opionion terrorists are way more scarey than a few gays!

I don't think you have long to wait. Like the TANG documents, internet/computer savy types have already dug out the IM's, screen names, identitys, and ages (then and now) of the participants. I hear Rats are already calling the suicide prevention hotlines.
I think that you had better read this article again, it claimed that an unidentified GOP member insinuated that he interferred. Stop trying to make more of this than it is.
The rabid gay activist who is behind all of this may be involved in blackmail. He has made direct threats on his internet site in an effort to force a vote against Alito.
This scandal is going to come back to bite the Democrats.

Don't count on the Republicans in Congress to do anything in retaliation --- they're not programed for that..

You're right as far as the Rep. legislators are concerned, but there are a lot of Republican bloggers out there who are determined to get to the bottom of the sting operation that was used to bring down Foley and intimidate other gay lawmakers.

If this is true, I think we'll see a change in both houses of Congress this year.
Wanna bet that the representatives and senators had no idea that some of their staff were gay until they were outed by the same crowd that threatened Fordham?
