I have read, and believe, that victims of molestation tend to become defenders or victimizers of children. In Foley's case he seems to be both. Not that surprising. As another poster noted, how appropriate that he will be judged in light of the laws he helped pass.

With that said, I thought it was a really cheap shot to toss off that throwaway line about being victimized by clergy. It doesn't have anything to do with anything that's happening now. He ought to stick a sock in it.
