Wouldnt be so sure. A bunch of whacko "Values" voters are talking about sitting out the election. That would make a difference in tight races. Right now I think we are going to lose 25-30 seats. The entire GOP leadership is at each others throats and no effective leadership is being offered. A number of candidates are forgoing having Hastert campaign or raise funds for them until this thing clears up. EVeryone's time and effort is going into damage control and no one is talking about our issues. Immigration was the big issue of the year and all congress could do was order a 700 mile fence to cover 2100 mile border. Reminds me of '94.

This is what happens when "Conservatives" spend way too much time on the Junk Media. Hate to burst the Grim Freepers bubble but the top 10 Conservative Talk Radio hosts talk to way more people ever day the all the Junk Media nightly news broadcasts. Old Conservatives problem is they still do not seem to grasp how the New Media has shattered the Junk Media's gatekeeper hold on information. Heck, if all you listen to is the junk media in 2002 you were convinced the Democrats would hold the Senate and win the House and in 2004 the it was going to be President John Kerry. Listening to the modern US "News" media is the equivalent of tuning into Radio Berlin in 1943 to see how the Allies War effort is going. The Grim Freepers should simply turn it off. Their view of politics is obviously way too influenced by it.
