Heck, with my next (sizable) quarterly tax check I send into the Feds, I will write on the memo, "my contribution to be used for the building of our fence!"

That should have a really big impact on the clerk who can't speak English.

Having worked in one of the check processing centers for the IRS, that's just not so. You have to be fluent in English to work there. That said, what it's not going to impress are the big OCR machines that the IRS uses.
