Charlie did it By George Crile, The Financial Times, June 6 2003

In the early summer of 1980, Texas Congressman Charlie Wilson walked off the floor of the House of Representatives into the Speaker's Lobby, a rich, wood- paneled room that stretches along the full length of the House floor. A Teletype at one end spewed out stories from AP, UPI and Reuters. Wilson was a news junkie, and he reached down and began reading a story datelined from Kabul.

The article described hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing Afghanistan as Soviet helicopter gunships leveled villages, slaughtered livestock, and killed anyone who harbored guerrillas resisting the occupation. What caught Wilson's attention, however, was the reporter's conclusion that the Afghan warriors were refusing to quit. The article described how they were murderin

From the very start articles explaining the fall of the Soviet Union paint a picture of our Republics Patriots in a unfavorable light. The press have time after time painted a picture of our Patriots being less than great men in fact they invite persecution because of their great sacrifice. Mr. Peter Paul is another Patriot that has been at the crux of the conspiracty against our Republic from the Carter administration and its alliances with Castro to Clinton and his alliances with the same powers that seek to enslave humanity and destroy our Nation. The enemies of Mr. Paul and the journalist that paint a dim picture of Congressman Charlie Wilson are at the very heart of a conspiracy that seeks to destroy us all by any means. We are awaiting a Chinese Blue Water Navy any day. We have had to fight these traitors more at home than ever before. China recieves 70% of its oil from Iran and next door is Iraq with 50% of the Worlds know deposits of oil. The war in Iraq is not directly tied to terror because it was never allowed to develope. If however Iran was allowed access then the development of the Blue Water Navy from China would now be threatening every port in the Pacific and Indian Ocean along with our OIL SUPPLY from the Middle East. WMDs may not have been found but Iran does not control 50% of the World supply of oil either and in stopping that from happening the Pacific and Indian Oceans are not threatened with gun boat diplomacy ala China. In the end we can trade with China and they do not have to project a military presence for economic success to occur but it took Patriots to stop them. Charlie Wilson is now demonized when in fact he should he hailed as a great Partiot, Mr. Peter Paul has been persecuted, and we hail James Earl Carter as a former President, William Jefferson Clinton the same when in fact they are traitors to this Republic. Since the press has an all out war on historical facts and at every turn demonizes the truth of the sacrifice these Patriots have given we must stuggle on against their efforts. The war in Iraq stopped the Iranians and Chinese from disrupting the whole of the Pacific and Indian Oceans or at least delayed it.
