As with he Foley situation - medical excuses are the best cover going. If it was true that she had been treated previously at a particular hospital/clinic - all she has to do is release a press statement saying she is going back for treatment. The facility is prevented by HIPPA restrictions from releasing any information about her without her permission. It could be a flat out lie - but she's not under oath - there is no downside to releasing such a statement as a public sympathy builder. Same with Foley, though I doubt it bought him much.

IIRC, hospitals will say whether someone has been admitted, but can give no specific information.
