Mark Foley Emails Altered?

Now the Mark Foley story is getting weird. (Yes, I know it’s already weird, but this is weirder.) There doesn’t seem to be any doubt that Foley’s guilty of making advances to teenage boys—after all, he resigned—but there’s something very odd about the email messages being circulated by media and left wing blogs: Foleygate: Mark Foley emails altered.

According to CNN what the FBI said - The FBI said the emails provided by CREW had the Page’s name redacted and made following up impossible. They also said CREW edited the emails. So we have charges by the FBI that CREW tampered with the evidence.

The same will go with the IMs and text messages. You are going to need the logs from the servers they were sent through and that may or may not be possible. Other than that, any one of us could create the same emails on a word processor.

What happens if the DoJ decides that ABC is an adjunct of the dem party and comes under campaign finance laws?

I hadn't seen it posted here, but I did see that somewhere. I think it was raw story or hot air. The emails from the fake blog and the ones at ABC don't match! And they haven't for about two weeks! This isn't news anywmore.

Maybe it's just me, but Bill seems to be a little too fame hungry. Why again is this being dragged out if both people who were involved have resigned?
