That lays it out pretty clearly. The Communists must deceive in order to gain power. Does that last fellow really believe that a large majority of Americans want redistribution of wealth and that only a very small minority support free enterprise? Is he deceiving himself or is he just lying?

Another stated tactic of American communists is to polarize the political landscape. They feel that by making all issues "black" and "white" and then presenting their solutions as all good it's more likely to cause a revolution against the system. That's why they tend to have an all or nothing approach.
