He could be conservative in some issues (probably economics) and still be part of the gay mafia that can't stand the fact that Foley is not marching in Gay Pride parades wearing a feather boa and g-string or that is is a supporter of traditional marriage.
Or he could be a RINO because it would set him apart in a field full of liberal political operative wannabes.
