Yep, he stuck his neck out but his reasons were honorable. Can fault Savage for other things but not this position.
My heart goes out to the Pendleton 8. They are young men the age of our children who are being punished for doing their job. A slap on the wrist is more appropriate if they got carried away doing their duty, not total humiliation by an overzealous military because of comments by a seditious congressman like Murtha, IMO.
