I don't care about the cost, I just don't want to see the supply problems of a decade ago.

Forget the trendy $10-$15 cigars and Commie crap.

I stick with my Fuente 8-5-8s and Hemingway Short Stories.

I love the Hemingways (mainly the Signatures) and have sevaral boxes of them. I would probably only smoke the Fuente Fuente Opus X if it wasn't so difficult to get them.

Yuk.

My beautiful wife got caught up in the cigar frenzy of the late 90's, thinking that she was cool, even though she had just survived breast cancer.

Stupidest thing she ever did, and came within an inch of our marriage!
Yuk!

Just finished my daily cigar about an hour ago. It was very nice and less than 5 bucks.

Never had an Opus X. JR Cigar occasionally offers quality "variety packs" that include at least one Opus X, so I'll probably try one soon.

BTW.... where does everyone get their sticks? I've ordered from L.Lynn a couple of times on the Internet... very affordable.

One of my most favorite all-time cigars was one that I had hand-rolled for me in Ybor City by Tampa -- EXCELLENT!!

Also, they are very inexpensive, but good smokes... Lone Wolf, produced by a company owned by none other than Chuck Norris. Even if they were pretty bad, I'd probably still buy them from Chuck!

I bought three boxes of them for about $2500 in Vegas last year, I thought my wife was going to strangle me.

Holy smokes.... literally! That's awesome! If you're ever gonna smoke one in Minnesota, give me a call... it might be worth it just to try the 2nd hand smoke on those!!

...Just got in. Han an inexpensive 'La Fontana'. and it was pretty darn good. Tomorrow it's a Macanudo Hyde Park. Usually it's an Ashton or Hoyo Excaliber but I can't get them locally (small town USA).

Most places only get them very rarely and will only sell two cigars at a time. At the Davidoff store at the Venetian they had boxes of them, but they charged more than most cigar shops. I hadn't lost too much money so I figured what the hell. I also had a single pre-Castro RyJ Churchill there that was about $400.

You should order them online, prices are usually better anyway.

Hopefully Castro will croak sometime soon and things will change.

I get mine online thru BestCigarPrices.com

They have the best prices of anyone I've found and a fairly large selection.

I have a new hero!

In all seriousness, that's great that you are able to enjoy these particular finer things in life. I'll get there eventually -- until then, Sancho Panza, Onyx Reserve, and the occasional Cohiba will have to be my "fine" sticks...

I wonder why it is that cigar smoke smells good, unlike cigarette smoke, which stinks like a f*rt. What could the difference be? Unfortunately the tobacco smoke from both chokes me nearly to death.
