I can see where you stopped reading, as the very next paragraph addresses your point.

But what really gets me is that in an era of Muslim suicide bombings and the decapitation of journalists, this bunch is so fearful of Christians. It's almost comical. Look out everybody! Here come the Baptists with bombs strapped to their chests. Not everyone places short-term physical security above long-term cultural security, and many believe both present long-term threats, both culturally and physically. Those who don't want a theocracy are threatened under any theocratic regime.

You're really showing your true colors, posting this bovine excrement. Some of us figured out your fakir status quite awhile back, but this should leave no doubt in any FReeper mind... You should be concern with Robin Morgan EV I saw her on a local show and this is what is really behind our secular media
This is the force that is driving them Morgan is just one of many like her.
I thought as a source one could get a bird's eye view of what where they are coming from!

It's a simple question.
Why did you post this vile anti-Christian attack on the fundamental underpinnings of our free republic?
Is it because you believe it or not?

I really don't understand your attacks EV, many freepers have posted things on FR to expose the left agenda why is this any different?
I think it is a good study to see ramblings of a reprobate mind!
Many in the News media have drunk at this Well! It is a good thing to have in the back of ones mind why they are speaking the way they do!

I am puzzled why someone would take this rant of a demented lefty serious and not be amazed that there is such thinking out there....
...also using the grey cells to connecting the dots realizing that this is where those who bash the right that this is one of the many slimy fountains that the media drinks from!

A great book on this is "The Rewriting of America's History" by Catherine Millard. I used it extensively during my undergrad studies (Political Science). The book is an easy read and well documented and shines the light on the lies of the secularists that are trying to drag our Founding Fathers down to the same level of debauchery.

I have researched many of the same quotes for a debate on the Founding Fathers and Christianity. I had forgotten many of them, I thank you for the refresher course.

The Constitution declares a President shall take an Oath or Affirm and then provides the words all Presidents have repeated.
An Oath is a binding religious commitment.
An Affirmation is a binding commitment.
Both are included. There is no separation.

There is no separation of Church and state they way they pretend it is.
Your incorrect. There is a clear seperation of Church and State in the Constitution. What get's lost in the argument is the fact that there is no seperation of citizens rights to practice their faith and the State. What I am essentially saying is this, if the majority of the public thinks it is correct and just to have a copy of the ten commandments hanging on the wall of a courhouse, it is their right to do so. This aspect of majority rule in no way violates a minorities rights. Because, if that same minority would like to have a copy of his religions major tenats posted in the courthouse, and the majority had no objection, than everything is fine. But, if the majority objected to a monority's request to post such literature, it still neither hinders that minority's religious freedom nor does it establish a religion, in the sense that the government recognizes such an establishment. It may be rather confusing to some, but to me it's quite clear. Majority rule with minority rights. What the majority wants, as long as it in no way infringes on individuals rights, is ok.
