A former House page says he had sex with then-Rep. Mark Foley (R-Fla.) after receiving explicit e-mails in which the congressman described assessing the sexual orientation and physical attributes of underage pages but waiting until later to make direct advances. The former page, who agreed to discuss his relationship with Foley with the Los Angeles Times on the condition that he not be identified, said his electronic correspondence with Foley began after he finished the respected Capitol Hill page program for high school juniors. His sexual encounter was in the fall of 2000, he said. At the time, he was 21 and a graduate of a rural Northeastern college.

No I guess it wasn't Tyson. That wouldn't fit with other things - he was a page earlier. I was waiting for the next SHOCKING development to come out. This is really getting tiresome. I hope the FBI looks carefully at Pelosi etc.

Sure, I'd prefer that homosexuals not make any advance at all -- but if he waits until after they are over 21, and after they leave the page program, how can either the media or the Democrats (distinction without a difference) complain about his actions?
Isn't it true that the Donkey Party wants to lower the age of consent to 12? What's the big deal about sex with 16-year-olds, given the Donkey stance on it?

I can't remember what word Fox used when describing this story, but for a few seconds I thought they were gonna report something criminal.
I heard this on Fox. If he's so concerned with the future of the page program (and there are those who would just end it), then why is he sharing this -- anonymously -- with the LA Times, adding fuel to the fire?
I wonder why no former pages seems to reporting any other members of Congress. I find it hard to believe Foley was the only one hitting on pages (male or female).

I hope his name comes out. There is no excuse for this story. As the media will blend this story with other inaccuate ones, no wonder the American people say they don't believe the House leadership (according to poll Fox keeps mentioning) - they are being lied to.

The criminal part of this case is the way it was brought forth on the eve of the election, the way it was presented and the use of it by democrats to turn the election.
The story was shaded to make it look like Foley had committed a criminal act, when in fact he did not. All the BS about investigations and other tripe by democrats when they knew the whole story to begin with,

The 12 year age of consent was proposed by the United Nations.
i believe SC Justice Ruth Ginsburg was for an age at 12 or 14.

THE ALLEGED SEXUAL ENCOUNTER HAPPENED OUTSIDE OF THE PAGE PROGRAM, YEARS LATER.
The kid was a queer going into the program, saw what was going on, left, went to college, learned most queers are socialists, and decided, years later, to add to the attempted destruction of President Bush, through the attempted destruction of the Republican party, through the destruction of Foley.
I wonder if this annonymous queer really exists.
