Jennifer Randa didn't need to see the official numbers released this month by the Duluth Police Department: crime up nearly 20 percent from 2004 to 2005, with drug crime more than doubling and violent crimes up by 32 percent.
From the Union Gospel Mission, where she helps provide meals and clothing to the homeless, Randa monitors the daily fistfights and street prostitution, the bustling drug trade and random vandalism sapping life in the city's Central Hillside neighborhood.

Does anybody make a nice set of chinos like that anymore? Bob was a sharp dresser back in the day, who knew?
You are right........check any of the stats from the "safe" towns where the Somalis have moved in. Duluth is not the only city with problems. Liberalism in action.......and the results arn't pretty.
And yet HUD et al think Section 8 housing plopped into the middle of previously tranquil, safe neighborhoods is STILL a good idea!
Ditto for developers who bamboozle clueless zoning boards with their BS about 'multi-family' and 'multi-use.' Call rentals and/or apartments by their proper name, you gold-watch-wearing junior pimps.
There doesn't seem to be a significant crime problem from Somalis in Rochester.
might make her "feal good" aboot herself, but that's called aiding and abetting in my book. Sat numerous times at the hospital looking out the window at a little liquor store across the street from the main entrance, amazing how the street life looks exactly like "tough" neighborhoods in the cities
It would be interesting to see some stats on how much crime is done by the homeless and the new drug runners that have come into town.
