We need a lawyer to figure how to exclude Islam from protection under the First Amendment. I mean, if McCain can strip political speech of its protection, why can't we do the same to Islam?

Islam claims to be more than a religion ~ it's a combination of culture, religion, and government.
Seems to me a simple question concerning "violent overthrow of the government" would be sufficient to exclude ALL Moslems from the United States.
Alternatively the Moslems could come up with a Reformed Islam that repudiated every element that affected government, including the prerogative of a Moslem to kill an infidel who refuses to join Islam.
Fur Shur, no Moslem in the US would ever be able to visit an Islamic country without threat of death by the locals, but that's a bridge I'm willing to cross.
We'd have a good reason to kick them out of the UN too.

Use the same method the lawyers used to strip 1st Amendment protection from the KKK. Speech advocating murder is not protected by the 1st Amendment. It was used against a white supremacist in Portland, Oregon. A black man was murdered and the white supremacist was charged with advocating the murder in a civil lawsuit. He lost the lawsuit and his home after execution of the judgment
I think the same method would work here. Go after the mosques that support violence and bankrupt them with civil lawsuits and class actions. The lawyers are already going after banks that have been providing financial services to terror groups.

Protection by the first amendment does not cover criminal acts. We need to execute muslims that act out their faith, and imprison ones who have not yet done so. After all, those who followed Charlie Manson got prison terms. It was their faith.

"We need a lawyer to figure how to exclude Islam from protection under the First Amendment."
We could amend the Constitution to state that
"religion as defined by the First Amendment does not include those religions which tenets or practices violate another person's rights by advocating the forced conversion to another religion or requiring a penalty for those who do not convert, whether it be by servitude, monetary compensation or death."
I'd gladly sign off on that.
