So your choices are:
Refuse to answer God's call to serve as a missionary in this particular place or
Refuse to answer God's call to parent your own children, and surrender them to someone else to raise.
I can see your point, but for the Christian, neither of the above should be an option.
For someone who speaks so knowingly about what how a christian should be, you sure are judgemental about others "opinions" and choices.
And I didn't see the blame being put on the parents/victims. I only saw the clear and valid point about how the parents SHOULD NOT have put their kids in harms way in Pakistan.
Agree or not, it's your choice, as is mine. And I won't even judge you for it.
You forgot the third choice for the Christian--answer God's call first, before you have a family that needs you, THEN have children and make their safety the primary focus of your life.
Or option three, wait to answer God's call until your children are adults. The God I know and love would understand. Flame away, but I too believe it is irresponsible parenting.
