A young couple friends of ours the husband jokes he wants his own baseball team.

I have one National League and one American League team, and a squad of 7 cheerleaders.

Where are you?

Colorado. The CPS here is one of the worst in the nation.

Move.

My dad and brother are here. It's not going to happen while Dad is still around and, thank God, he's still going strong at 78.

I really like that show. Because of them I have start sewing again. I'm not a pro, but need be I'll put together a garment. OF course it has to be with a pattern and labeled EASY or sew in one hour...you know what I mean. I'm thinking of going to Community college continuing Ed to learn MUCH more about patterns and alterations. You can easily get hooked on that show! That idiot who made one of the contestant mother cry needs a swift kick in the butt!! Can't stand him! And they flaunt their queerness too boot!!

Ahh...my brother lives there. Actually he and his wife adopted a girl they fostered (they also have 2 boys of their own). But, they are way left liberals and probably thought all the rules were just dandy.

Way to the left liberals would like these rules. Unfortunately, they want to impose their dysfunctional childcare theories on everyone.

PING!

Interesting article.

This ping list is for the "other" articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. If you want on/off this list, please freepmail me. The main Homeschool Ping List by DaveLoneRanger handles the homeschool-specific articles.

We only have three. I wanted more but it just didn't work out either. Late starts don't help.

We attended a homeschool children's choir group today. I have one of the smallest families with 3 children. Most of them have 7 plus kids. One woman is pregnant with her 10th. I am in awe of these women every time we get together. I hope God lets us have more!! :o)

"Seriously though, it was not a pampered upbringing - but it did help me to develop some important skills for later on in life."

A lot of the problems we're dealing with are in part the result of raising generations of spoiled children. The lack of a work ethic, and the entitlement mentality for example.

If I could live my life over, I'd start having children earlier, and had more.

I think that there are two main reasons why parents don't want large families. The first is that many parents don't discipline their kids. Since their kids are brats, the parents conclude that all kids are brats, and not that they're lousy parents.

The second reason is that parents feel that they shouldn't bring kids into the world if they can't afford to send their kids to college. Well, all I have to say is, I've been to college, I knew college, and college is no John F. Kennedy.

It's a good place to learn a bunch of new vices though. And for only $20+k/year!

Wanted 12. Got 2. I'm happy with what God's given us. 8-)

Five kids here (Ages 19, 14, 7, 5, 4).

I don't know any family in our area with more than five, but several families do have five.

Its rough when they're babies, but it gets to be a lot of fun as they get older. I can't remember the last time I was either bored or lonely.
