Sorry, I totally disagree.
Sorry, plus Minnesota which was Wellstone's lead until he died and no one even tried to predict the outcome after that.
That's fine but in order to do so you have to ignore commonsense and political history. There are no more than 35% conservatives in this country and in order to win Senate seats and the Presidency one must attract votes who are not conservatives. Hard Right voters can elect Representatives in a few districts as hard Left voters can but neither can win on the National level.
It is amazing that people can encourage the RATS to nominate Leftist extremists because we know that means defeat for them but these same people don't understand that it works for Rightist extremists as well.
And in order to come to your conclusion you have to ignore the FACT that over 48% voted for an outright frickin' TRAITOR in 2004. That is just how brainwashed the masses are.
Then what happened when Ronald Reagan won by a landslide in 1980? I'll tell you: Jimmy Carter and the RATs had so embarrassed this country by giving the appearance of helplessness in the Iranian Hostage crisis. There were economic reasons, too, but the issue that resonated with nearly everybody was an America crippled & humiliated militarily by that 3rd world country. I think the GOP could win this one handily if the man on top would reverse his NWO agenda on immigration and border security. I think there is a huge number of liberals (white anglo) who are panicking on this but will vote their party line as long as there is no definitive difference. Right now, there is no difference between the Rat's and the 'Pubbies on this issue.
That list is worthless without numbers. Do you have the specific polling data?
