People here drop terms like "nuke Mecca", "nuke Pyongyang", without actually knowing the human effects of these weapons. A nuclear WMD is truely the evil gift that keeps on giving YEARS after it is deployed. There was a reason why the Soviets never engaged us in a nuclear exchange, and it was because they saw the same results from their tests as we did. In the end, the Soviets loved their political model enough so that they never pre-emptively engaged the US. The MAD Doctrine works, but ONLY IF YOUR OPPONENT LOVES LIFE AS MUCH AS YOU DO.

Sad but very true. Which is why we desperately need rigorous enforcement of our borders. It's going to be some nut cases smuggling components for a bunch of dirty bombs and God knows what else that is going to wind up wreaking havoc upon us one day ( God forbid ).

The bomb wasn't built on Tinian. It was loaded into the bombers there, and there may have been some assembly, as there was some, at least of the Hiroshima bomb, after takeoff.

The question is whose intestines will end up like that, ours and our children or
-our enemies?

Prompt military action by our President Bush today can make the answer to that question a positive one for US and our Children.

Continued inaction by President Bush against Iran and N. Korea will assure that our enemies control the answer.
