As far as those who will watch the monitors, I picture old police vice squad and homocide investigators who have seen everything, who will not be shocked or even interested in anything they see but will have to drink gallons of coffee to stay awake. Especially if they have cameras in my house.
Blackmail though. Who keeps copies, and for how long. You do something stupid after stumbling out of a bar at 21, like peeing in an alley, and 20 years later you are running for congress and it gets splashed over the internets.
That is the kind of society I want to live in. We will become phonies. Not good, or better, but fake. We will have such a bogus public facade because our minders are watching us.
A good example for me is the stupid young teenage girls who flashed the cameras at Amusement Park rides, then said whoops when one of the employees posted them on line.
Their behavior was childish, but these are 18 year olds who might have to explain to their grandkids what they did. I am reminded of the Truman show. It may become reality for all of us. Somebody will always be watching.
