"The League of Women Voters has offered to sponsor a debate. The Tribune-Democrat has offered to help schedule and sponsor a debate. Several television stations here in the district have offered to air the debate. That sounds pretty plain and simple to me. All Murtha has to do is show up, everything else is taken care of for him.
Anyone think he'll show? I don't.

When I was growing up, it was rare that any TV station other than PBS (WQED-13 and WQEX-16 in Pittsburgh) would air political debates. I'm not sure if Johnstown even has a PBS affiliate....they don't...but according to the web, State College, PA does and their signal reaches Johnstown.
"Several television stations here in the district have offered to air the debate." -- so I would assume they are not talking about community access cable.
