I have wondered about this for some time. What will take the place of the Democrats? The demographics are against them. The facts are against them. They have no real possibility of outside support (with the possible exception of China). All that they really have is the slowly dying MSM.

The only way for Democrats to survive is for the far left to implode. The hard left would have to be disgraced and lose their power in academia, the press and Hollywood. This is not out of the question, but may take a generation to happen. If the far left collapsed, it would allow the people on the left side of the spectrm to act more like sensible liberals who love America and have common sense, more like liberals used to act in the 1950s and early 1960s before they became rabid and radicalized.

A few more election cycles with the GOP in control (this is why we need our RINOS!) will purge the Democrats of there moonbat left, which in the long run will be good for Democrats, good for the GOP (too long a time being in control breed complacency & corruption!) and good for the country. We need the 2 party system!
Over time our RINOs will be come extinct and the democrats will grow more responsible. GOP'ers who want it all now aren't thinking through present political reality. (By wanting everything now they are being as fanatsy-prone as some of the moonbat left!)
