Regardless of the reason that the Feds traced the emails to George - The Other's computer, it is in the Sun because he is a supporter of Ehrlich and Steele.

I am sure that had he been a supporter of O'Malley, caught in the same way, it never would have made the 'news.'

It sounds like the police took the e-mail name, "George Orwell", and just looked for other people using similar user-names, and cross-referenced to the Baltimore area -- and then looked for 'politically active' people.

Sounds like a legit investigative process, but not in itself enough to support a charge, but enough to support a search warrant.

So they searched his computer -- did that produce further incriminating evidence or not?
