I will always be grateful to Gerry for the life we had together," Hara, who married Studds a week after same-sex marriage was legalized here in 2004, said in a statement. ''We truly were blessed to have what every married couple hopes for: to spend our days with the person we love.
Uh, Hara, were you a part of "the life" when he was doing the chicken-hawk thing? Or were you guys still doing it--together?

Uh, Hara, were you a part of "the life" when he was doing the chicken-hawk thing? Hara is only 49. In '73 when the chicken hawk thing occured (although Studds wasn't censured until '83), he would have been 16 and Studds 36. He may have been one of the later "Conquests" of Congressmen (spit) Studds.
