One has to wonder if we didn't actually help their fund raising, but it was interesting how craven Murtha appearantly was that he wouldn't even drive by us.

Murtha's simply gotta go - using "cut and run" in describing him is too kind. Am hoping the folk who reside in and who are interested in the election in PA-12 redouble their efforts. Murtha's not even bothering to hide the fact he hobnobs with the moonbat/enemy scum.

Good for you guys! We have been doing a support the troop in Studio City, CA (near Universal Studios) for over 3 years now. Sometimes there has only been one of us, right now we're back at three, but our signs speak volumes & drives the moonbats crazy. We're not backing down, and I encourage you not to as well. Keep his feet to the fire!

Thanks for your AAR, dalight. For such short notice it looks like it was a success. It's not surprising Murthawi snuck in the back door, he's a coward.
The lady with the rainbow flag is a good example of his supporters along with the Code Pinko nutsos but the worst thing is he supports them instead of our military.
THANK YOU ALL!! GOOD JOB.

Good work, and good AAR! And don't ever think there are too few of you - especially with vets there, too. God bless you all!

CONGRATULATIONS on your FIRST FREEP!!!
THANK YOU for the report, but most of all THANK YOU for having the will to FReep John "Cut-n-Run""Screw 'Em" "in cold-blood" al-Murthawi. Great job!!!
I would say your first FReep was an outstanding success! Getting 7 people to be there with such short notice is a very big deal. The fact that you had so many veterans with you is a real feather in your cap. The flags on the truck behind you was a nice touch.

Great action and report. Murtha must know he he's in trouble by now, with so many protest actions against him.

Excellent FReep and AAR. Thanks for being there.
The moonbats are dense. They either can't read or are on 'stupid autopilot'. In Olney, we were occupying the corner the moonbats used to be on, and I had on a Marine cap, holding the U.S. flag with the Marine Corps flag under it, and a sign saying "We support our troops efforts in Iraq". This idiot in a car gives me the thumbs up and the FReepers on our original corner the thumbs down. You should have seen his face when I yelled that we were together and the moonbats had cut & run.
Again, great FReep.

One of the various folks who were attending the fundraiser and press conference screamed across the street to this group of Marine Vets and a Navy vet with Marine and Navy Ball Caps and USMC emblems on jackets, asking if they had ever servered.. and everyones jaw dropped. It takes all sorts. At least you didn't have the experience I've had, where local lib vets tell me my service didn't count because I served in CONUS, or the Air force, or because I joined in peacetime, or (my favorite) I can't comment on whether the next President of the U.S. might be a traitor or war criminal because he served in Nam and I didn't.
Good on you all, and thanks for serving! Here's a salute for ya!
