.....Anybody else heard this?.....
If you recall, the good Capitan learned that the French Capitan was not dead, merely wounded and onboard the captured vessel now captianed by the Brit First Officer.
At this point he set off again in pursuit as the movie ended.
The next movie will be a continuation of the first imho

My favourite bit from The Quiet Man:While Wayne was dragging O'Hara across Ireland, an old woman comes up and says; "Here's a good stick to beat the lovely lady!"
Same here, that cracks me up every time!! Classic! :D

don't forget the new "Horatio Hornblower" series starring Ioan Greunfeld (or however you spell it) I don't think that there are new ones coming out. I recall there were eight made for A&E from 1998 to 2003.

Yes, the ending of M&C was definitely "up in the air". Full speed ahead towards the sequel, I say!

Kudos to your niece for her service in the US Navy. Best of luck to her, if she chooses to make the Navy her career.

I'll pass that along, thank you for the kind words.

Another good sea film, if you can find it, is "Billy Budd" from the early 60's, starring David McCallum (from NCIS and Man from UNCLE) and Terrence Stamp. Check your library interloan system for a DVD of the operatic version, made approx. 15 years ago by the Brits.

Highly recommended. One of the few movies we enjoyed enough to purchase and watch again.
