That is really a slap on the wrist. The only thing I would say (haven't followed the case in depth) was that pretty much most of what she had done in acting as attorney and passing on info to his al Qaeda cronies was before 9-11 and before the Patriot Act was passed. So she should be judged according to the laws that were on the books at that time (were they that lenient???)

According to yesterday's stories on this case, she faced a maximum sentence of 30 years!! This is less than 8% of the maximum!!
